33 is a/c refrigerant pressure switch ore a/c clutch circuit. as I remeber.

I got no SAM code list... I can see what do codes mean with ServiceLink only.

So I wanna get code list too.

SAM units are made in the best Mercedes Traditions and cab SAM is like a simlified replica of Actros Grund Modul, chassis SAM is a mix of Mercedes FM and HM.

Fortunatly freightliner wiring is not so complicated as Actros MP2.

So far, CAB 33 USUALLY means there is a light out somewhere. We have replaced the tail lamp bulb 3 times in 60k. Yesterday, while I was getting ready to relieve my husband of his shift, I saw it was on again. Found the dual filament turn signal bulb was at fault. The turn signal was operating as designed, but the parking portion of the bulb was burned out. After it was replaced, the code went away. We replaced that bulb just 2 months ago. I suspect the windshield leak my mechanics CAN'T (even though I showed them the trick of pressuring the cab via AC and windshield cleaner) find has corroded components under the dash......Sorry for rambling, just been on the road a while.

Don't let Freightliner fix your windshield!!!! Take it to a window shop and have them seal it with the black goop they use as fast as possible!!! Mine leaked and I left it up to Freightliner and the water intrusion into the Sam cab module and harness started all the issues. I was quoted 2 guys 6 days to replace the Sam cab and Sam cab harnesses. Four of our company trucks had to be done one caught on fire before getting there. If I had have know and had my windshield fixed properly the first time I may still have the truck. The rest of the issues were almost delt with but the constant codes, lights flashing and the stereo cutting out drove me nuts. I could get the codes all cleared go out for a week and they would be able to print off 2 pages of Sam cab codes. DO NOT LET YOUR WINDSHIELD LEAK FOR LONG. Freightliner has actually made some kind of plastic hood that covers that stuff under the dash for the new ones so I've been told. They would not admit it was a problem, but came up with a solution anyways?????

We have 10 2012 Cascadias and those signal lights always go out. Of course its a sealed unit so just changing the bulb isn't an option. :biggrin_25513: Truck-Lite makes an LED unit which lasts far longer. Not only that, they're much brighter too. They're $88 but its worth it in the long run. It's 07345Y for the LED, 07346Y for the original replacement.
