2011 cascadia a/c thermostat setting. I turned on heat for a few hours and then back to a/c and no a/c.

Do you have any refrigerant leaks in the system that are visible or that you know of? Probly wouldn't hurt to swing by a TA or Petro and pick you up one of those big blue cans of refrigerant, the one with the reusable hose and valve assembly that has the built-in pressure gauge.

On the fuse box under the glove compartment? Although that has been an issue with Cascadia's, there's supposed to be a special cover over the fuse panel that protects it from those kinds of leaks if you should ever get one.

Well, as I said, it should already be in place because this has been an issue with the Cascadia. The '10 I'm driving came from the factory with this "special" cover in place over the fuse panel to protect it from water damage if the windshield ever decides to leak like its been prone to with other trucks. That was supposed to be one of Freightliner's contingency plans so that if it ever did happen, you wouldn't end up with a fried fuse panel. A leaky windshield is i a whole lot easier to deal with than a shorted out electrical system.
