Help! Oil pressure problems

    I just did a quick internet search, and it seems these engines are good for having the liner o-rings shrink and leak. Replacing them basically involves removing the head, pistons and connecting rods, pulling the liners and replacing the o-rings. Time consuming, but not particularly difficult work. You'll need to buy or make some special tools for some of the work. If you want to do it yourself, you can find service manuals on amazon or ebay. If it were me, I'd probably replace the rings while I was in there. Because I could. :)

    If you're losing it that quickly, you should be able to see it seeping around the liners if you remove the pan and pressurize the system.

    You could try a block / head gasket sealer like Bar's Leaks. Sometimes it's a permanent fix, sometimes temporary, sometimes it doesn't work. But it's cheap, and worth a shot. Follow the directions to the letter.
