Cascadia Hood Hinge failure
I am driving a 2009 Cascadia with about 490K miles on it. Had an issue with the hood. I KNOW this side has been hit at least twice by deer. I did one and the bumper had already been replaced once before so there's 2 times.
Anyhoo...
This past week when I went to open my hood on a post trip, the HINGE adhesive to the hood let loose. Keep an eye on it. It ain't no fun in 90 degree heat to manhandle a Cascadia hood all by your lonesome and get it closed again.
Mechanic said he can fix it at the shop. They just pull the entire hood and then clean up the area and re-glue it. Should take about an afternoon he said.
