While running cruise if you turn lights or wipers on cruise kicks out, is this normal ?

our company cascadias kick you out of cruise if the wipers are activated. never had an issue with the lights. with all the computers on board, i am sure each of these features can be disabled by a freightshaker tech and a laptop
