How to make the clutch pedal softer?

    not sure about the col but on the cascadias there is a heavy heavy spring right on the pedal under the dash. hope it helps i know i drove a cas for 2 months temp and notices the pedal in it was crazy stiff, plus it did not kill the cruse or jakes intill it was the pedal was 3/4 way down...i hated it and i only use it to pull out...lol

    OMG u guys are killing me . There is no adjustment for pedal ,and if u change the springs in the pressure plate, the clutch will slip under heavy load. Your clutch is probably push type and needs to be replaced with a pull type AKA E/Z. pedal. Now, as far as floating gears, the RPM is aprox, 1500 higher or lower depend grade. 400 (#*?) think about that, idle rpm is 650 -750
