first make sure your truck draws from the left tank. I would just follow the cross over tube and put a shut off on it.

You can re plumb it if there is no shut off. Some had them, others didn't and they weren't always the same. You might be able to plug both the inlet and the outlet at the Even-flo for that tank.
I'm not familiar with Schneider trucks from that long ago, but a 2000 Columbia had a rotary selector.
The Even-flo got rid of the crossover on Freightliners a long time ago, another 2000 or 2001 had the levers, they had become disconnected, but could be reached from the driver's side from above the tank.
My last Columbia had no shut off, the Cascadia has the 2 levers just about like the FLDs used to have, some of them didn't have shut-offs, either.
Cascadia is a 2013. -
my truck takes fuel from both tanks and it is not all. If I fill one tank, fuel slowly flows to other when engine is off

Just remove both the return line and feed line from leaking tank and cap them.do not connect them together.have done it many, many times.good luck.

yep, it was easy. I separated RH fuel tank lines and I used fittings to use LH tank only
