Have an 05 Century with DD, 10 speed manual trans. When I open drivers door I can hear air flow somewhere behind dash. Push the light switch on the door post in and the flow stops. Any ideas on how or why this is?

Sounds like one of the lines going to the instrument cluster or over to the dash valves. Probably a loose push-lock connector or something. Pull the dash trims and see if you can locate it. If you're lucky, you may only need to trim the end of the line and plug it back into the connector.

Any idea on how the door post switch would have any effect on the air flow.

The low air warning unit is static (I think), as are the dash valves. -
If it's leaking fast enough you could leave the door open for awhile and see if if will kick the dash valves out and activate the low air warning unit. If it does, and both of those devices are operational, yet the leak persists, maybe pull the trims and see if you can get a handle on it that way.

There is absolutely no connection between the two century does not even have any air going to the doors or even close to them for that matter

Thanks for all the ideas. Every thing seems to work normal but even when I'm almost out of air pressure I can hear the air flow, push in curtesy light switch or close the door and it stops. I agree with post #6 and can't imagine how the two are connected. Dealer has no clue. It's not bad enough to take dash apart until I have some other reason to get in there. Have met one other driver with same model and year that says his does the same thing but has no idea why either. Had one driver say it was to let air out of drivers seat when the door was open. It has no effect on my seat.
