Aright new to the forum, buying another tractor for a Semi-Vac (oilfield use), and they're trying to convince me that a Coronado Cl (Highway Model) is built the same as a Coronado SD (Severe Duty), they're really slim for picking so would a CL take the abuse that an SD would take?

i wouldnt think so. I have driven a freightliner in the oilfield and getting around on a pad is alot easier in that than a pete or kw. frac doesnt leave alot of room on the pad. i think the freightliner i drove was a fld 120 (old swift truck) but it got the job done

SD is made for rought road. If U run highway truck on oil field it gonna fall apart) May plastic parts like hood, bumper cover, cab internals may crack. I use retired shnider in Russsia now and roads in Nothern Russia like a test road for tanks. The last thing I lost is on hood mirrror.
SD got more tought frame, especially for twist. It is really important -
They have done that in Az but it was heading into Az so it was a money and guns search point. One exit pass the weigh station said all trucks pull in.
