I just recently purchased a 94 fld 120 w/ non-integrated sleeper and was trying to give it a face lift! The hood is busted and the truck could use a paint job! This leads me to the next question can a classic hood fit on this truck without to much modification? Does anyone have pics of this done? I'm new to trucks with lots of questions so please don't bash on me to bad.

Not alot of people would know. Start a google search. Get dimmensions of your current hood and compare them to the one you want. Might take a little time. Try typing this into google "dimensions of (hood on truck model and make).

it depends on what fld120 you have. they did make a set forward axle that you could get a short nose classic hood. Otherwise you have to change the frong springs, move the axle forward and get the hood. personal I hate the short nose classic as the fenders sit way up high not like your more commonly seen classic xl which is a 132

But if you want to make it look good get a new hood, get a drop down chrome wrap around bumper 22in drop get the stainless hood wraps like classics have and the chrome for the headlight area. a drop visor with lots of lights move the stacks to the cab sides and get the light bars there. lights up the back fairings and bunk area. lights under the bunk area shining on the tanks.lighted mud flap hangers....does your truck have skirting or open tanks. if its skirting mount 2 in seal beams down on the lower part at the seam.....I can go on more....lol

you can use the classic hood if you have the front springs and frame extenders would take alittle time but can be done

You can mount a F/L Cabover cab on an FLD chassis by changing the front frame extenders/ spring hangers so I'm sure a Classic hood will fit as well. The bolt pattern should be the same. Since both are 120" BBC, the cab should be in the right spot in the frame.

But not all Classics are the same. They were changed around 2002 and made to mount on a Century chassis. If the Classic bumper has 2 sort of square holes for tow hooks it's the new style if it has the horizontal oval in the center with a tow pin it's on an FLD chassis.
