Just wondering here, I have driven Classics with air actuated door locks, and air operated windows. And HATED every last mile with them! Im going to look at a Classic this week, and just curious if there is any electric conversions for these? IDK if this one has them or not, its a 99. Im sure it does. I know just opening up the door panels and lubricating things will make them function properly, but electric is just... BETTER.

i have a 06 classic with air locks and electric windows. the air locks do not work very well.
-
O wow even in '06... its a little surprising, the air windows I remember being VERY touchy, the air locks just plain SUCK. lol
-
yeah, i remeber the first time i got in a truck that had electric windsheild wipers and not air powered. or on our 1953 grain truck they worked off vaccuum from the engine

It all depends on who spec'ed the truck. Air is usually lighter and cheaper. I'd take a air window any day if it meant I'd have electric wipers! Air wipers sucked.
