Hi, my name is JIm, I'm driving a truck cascadia 2013 day cab, all the switch controls on the wheel stop working (cruise control, motor break, - & +, etc), i don't know what happened .. i was driving from oakland,ca to redbluff .. all were working properly, in redbluff,ca turn off the truck for along 4 hours then I dispose to come bak to oakland and I notice that the switch to turn on the cruise control was not working .. the green light didnt come out .. the same with the motor break .. etc..
what could be the problem?.. i've checked all the cab fuses and are OK

Been seeing a lot of issues with the clock spring. You can pull up the steering wheel switches on the steering wheel and disconnect the 4 pin connecctor. Then remove the hazard switch and you will see a connector similar to the one on the steering wheel switch. You can ohm pin 1 on steering wheel switch to 1 on hazard switch, then 2-2, 3-3, 4-4. All should show .2-.5 ohms. If it is open, it is most likely the clock spring.

I have a 2015 579 peterbilt none of the steering wheel controles r working and the raidio is acting up it cuts off on it's own and won't cut off when I turn off the truck checked all fewses all r good
