On top of a full inspection and fixing what we find wrong, we:
change all fluids/filters with oil samples
Air Filter(s)
drain some fuel from the bottoms of the tanks (check for water, trash, etc.)
HVAC filters and clean condensor and heater cores if needed
Pull A/C condensor and/or CAC to get a good look at and clean the radiator/CAC/condensor
air dryer service
load test batteries
remove/clean all battery/starter connections
check alignment
full check of the A/C system and inject dye if it doesn't have it
valve adjustment
set ECM parameters to our spec
reset any driver trip info and clear inactive codes (engine, ABS, and any other ECU that will store faults)
Since we run PTO hydraulics, if the truck has a PTO we'll pull the pump and check splines (common wear point).
Road test
Basically, since we didn't do the service, we can't be sure 100% that any records are accurate, so we have a fresh start.buddyvuk Thanks this.
