Is anyone here in the know about the clock that goes at the top of the windshield in the center? I have been searching for one and can't seem to find it. Was wanting to know if anyone else knows where I can find one and if the truck is already wired for that clock.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried going OEM? IE contact a freightliner dealer and asking about a aftermarket clock? Otherwise why not look for a junkyard for class 8 trucks? They must exist.
Doing a Google search I found this site that offers a battery powered digital clock, two sizes available. 2-1/16" and a 2" so you will need to measure the hole diameter.

I found better results searching just "Windshield Clock". Alas they are not Freightliner.
Otherwise if your a company driver, you need to contact the garage about getting a clock. -
there is one in my truck.it keeps excellent time.the light went out behind it and i'll be darned if i can't get the clock out to replace the bulb.ALWAYS feels as if i am about to break something so the bulb has been blown for going on 3 years now.
yes it does tear my ocd up.
regarding whether it is already wired,i'd say it is especially if there is a knock out there.Last edited: Jun 15, 2013

ebay has many.already wired for it.good luck. -
Qualitytruck beat me to it! I just bought one for me and one for a friend. Freightliner wanted $102.00 for it, the one on ebay, item no. 221205925582 is just over $25.00 counting the shipping!
To x#1, yeah, you are right, you have to work it to get it out!
I can tell you, once you have one with the light in it, you will always want it!
Jackx#1 Thanks this. -
you know ,perhaps this weekend i shall try again to change that bulb.things look amiss w/that clock not lit up-

The bulb is not replaceable but Q5 CB in DeForest WI can fix it.
Yes the truck should have a pigtail behind the Freightliner cap. -
that is a standard size foe gauges, you can get a clock to fit it at autozone, pep boys, ebay....... or the empty truck at your company yard.

There is a push tab at the top and bottom, they are a bugger to get out! You pull it about a half inch out, then put a flat blade screwdriver straight in at the top, get the tab out, then the same for the bottom.
