First off new to the forum and I'm really pulling my hair out here.

I am currently working on a 2012 Coronado with a DD13. When the truck is cold and you turn the key on (engine off) the Regen lights, check engine light, wait to start light, and the abs light flash on and off and not neccesarily with eachother. When you attempt to start the truck so long as the wait to start light doesnt come on before the engine fires it will start. Once you start the truck all of the lights continue to flash. On a road test the truck will "derate" when the wait to start light comes on and returns to normal when the lights goes out. When the truck derates the speedo goes to zero and all the other gauges operate as they should. The drivers says once the truck warms up it doesnt do anything although I cant seem to make it stop. Any help at all would be awesome.

and you haven't tried the regen yet?

you park the truck with the regen light on. there's a switch on the dash that has the same symbol. you hold the switch on till the idle kicks up and let off the switch. the truck will run at high idle. once the regen is done. the truck comes back to normal idle. and you can drive.

all the lights should go off to. IF a regen is what it's telling you.

it's a commong problem with 07 and newer trucks. there are a multitude of reasons that can cause a regen. but when the truck derates. the regen light SHOULD come on and it's time to regen the truck.

don't know about your electrical issues though since i haven't driven anything newer then 09.

try a regen and see if that fixes your problem. if not then it's a shop problem and needs to see the dealer.

i had a regen issue also. first time in the truck i'm in now. engine lights doing funny things. haven't had the lights and so far all is good since i did the regen.

Snowwy. Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention the regen. The truck absolutely would not regen from the dash. Never tried a forced regen with the laptop as I had a hunch I was chasing other issues and the DPF particle count was really low when I checked it.

As always as soon as I turn for help I stumbled across it. There is a CPC module that controls the cab and on these trucks is in the center of the dash on the floorboard under the plastics. We have a new truck that hasnt been put into service yet and I switched them and the problem is no more. Now I have to do the warranty paperwork.... Bleh

One last thing I forgot to mention is I work in a shop and am certified by Freightliner since the company I work for buys so many to do all of the warranty work. I know I am screwed when the dealer guys in Fresno have been telling me I dont know for two weeks. haha

    Thanks again for your help.
