If you liked the field of vision of the Cascadia with its current head lights, you will love the LED headlights that are to be standard equipment the first of August ! Tested the prototypes , then they gave us a set of production models. Great product! Thanks Truck Lite!

It's dungeon dark. Plus the light switches are hard to find in the dark since they are not illuminated unless the key is on. I've been looking towards adding my own lights.

No way!!!! Those puppies are awesome! The company I work for leases 60 Cascadia daycabs from Penske and I keep trying to get one of the guys to put a set on my truck....he told me they are $700 per headlamp, that's craziness. But I must say, they provide a lot of light, but are WORTHLESS when the white stuff starts falling, just like any other LED..

I drove a 2010 Cascadia with a DD13 and 10 speed. Plenty of power, unbelievably quiet, ample storage. Decent ride but I never liked the driver's seat, very uncomfortable. The fender mirrors took some getting used to and you will find out that every time you use the windshield washer the fluid ends up all over the driver side mirror. The unit I drove had a single bunk with cabinets on the back wall.

I'm in a 2012 Cascadia now, after driving a Kenworth T2000 with a Screamin' Demon Detroit.... and it is much much much (did I say much?) quieter. It has plenty of storage for my needs (although I'd like to have tool access on the passenger and the driver's side).

Did not have any issues with snow, during testing. Did ice over in freezing rain. But so did everything else! Was having to stop every few min to clear the wipers, just wiped down highlights when walking around front of the truck.
But yes that's what we have been told . 08/01/2013 they are to be standard equipment on the cascadias. Think Penske is replacing all theirs to the LEDs .

The 2013 models have a aero piece on the front of the mirror that helps. Need to get a part number and try one out.

There are two cabinets above the desk. You take the lower cabinets shelf out, remove the door, add microwave, ad trim if desired.

Really eh?? Quite the opposite up this way. Any cold rain or snow, and those LEDs are useless. Put your hand on any incandescent bulb after being on for an hour, and she'll be hot. Touch those LEDs after a 13 hour day, and you'd wonder if they were ever even turned on. Great visibility though, but lets just hope Penske starts to learn how to aim/adjust them, seems every second set that I cross paths with, the driver side is pointing north and the passenger south.
