There should be a plate riveted to the transmission case that will will have model numbers on it,probably RM followed by numbers or numbers and letters. If you have access to a dealer, they would be able to tell you from the vehicle identification number (VIN), they need the last 6 characters.

Hello guys byI just have question I have regarding speed of Freightliner classic 2007 Detroit 60 series . And it's transmission is Eaton RTLO -16913A (13 speed ) with 11r24.5 wheels .so the problem is
If I set correct Rev/per miles which is around 160 then my truck doesn't go over 63 miles but on dash It does show 70 miles . I tried couple of other number the around 518 Rev per miles it goes upto 70 miles but now I have 5 per miles difference in dash that. It's actual speed like if truck is at 60 miles then the dash is showing 65 miles please can u help me to solve this issue .
Now Rev per miles Is = 518
Vss tooth is = 16
Top gear ratio is = 0.73
Axle ratio is = 3.42
But I don't know if any of this is correct I have only changed the rev/per miles. -

Bss teeth are set to = 16
Rev/ miles = 518
Axle ratio = 3.42
Top gear ratio = 0.73
I have only changed rev per miles -
RJ_saini, Isn't revolutions per mile for 11R24.5 tires roughly around 475? Where does the the 160 number come from? Does your dash have adjustable dip switches for speedometer adjustment or is it too new for that type of thing?
