I'm looking at purchasing a 06 Century w/ 72" flat top sleeper and a thermo king APU. I'm trying to figure out the dry weight, any ideas?

The "dry" weight is stamped on the ID tag with the VIN, it is what the factory claims the truck weighs without any fluids, fuel, oil, antifreeze, trans and rear end oil.

Dry weight means absolutely nothing to me. We cannot give you a figure on what your truck will tare out at as there are too many variables. I believe my truck probably has about 200lbs of road grime on it from over the years. My stamped weight is 18800, I'm over 22000 full of fuel. Tare with 135 gallons (1/2 tanks) is 31560 with my flatbed and it's aluminum. Our other truck has a stamped weight of 18560 with a combo 96 wide wilson and full tanks, he was 31800 he has 150s. Now tell me with being that close on stamped weights do you trust the OEM stamped weight?

If it were me I would have who ever is trying to sell it go to a public scale and weigh it, preferably with me there to see it for myself.
