This is on an old Lincoln Navigator (4 wheeler) But I've also been through this with my Mack, and over the counter products didn't help a bit. I figure there must be a better way than simple detergent... maybe a mix detergent, and acid someone has had success with?

    Thanks!

the only way to clean a radiator (properly) is to send it to a radiator shop. but if it's really plugged badly inside. you'll be looking at a new radiator.

the shop takes the headers off the radiator and soaks everything inside a acid type like cleaner. then they weld it back together and repaint it. but that method only works if the radiator is only slightly plugged.
