If you ever get to Vancouver BC the guys at Cullen Diesel Power (Detroit/ Allison) are the best shop I've ever dealt with and their diagnostic skill is amazing. They never throw parts at the problem. They find the problem and then fix it.

I got my trucks few days ago from the dealership
one of the biggest things they have changed is the turbo
but I'm still having poor mpg it's about 4.6 now hauling 40k
please if anyone have any idea as to what I should do next
do I just take it to the Detroit? Freightliner assured me my truck
is running fine yet 4.6 is far from fine. -
Same problem in my truck and it was DPF problem. Hope it help you.

They have a few locations around the So Cal area though.
Edit: Also to add, the windshields leaking is definitely a major problem, I just had to call out Safelite to reseal a windshield on one of our newer trucks. The design on these windshields was supposed to be "the next best thing", but instead they just leak constantly. We have had at least 3 or 4 trucks that have had wiring shorted out from water pouring through the windshield area. -
Thanks to contributors to this thread. Very useful info.
