How is the noise level in the 2010 or later Cascadias??? I know they have cab insulation but can you get additional stuff done to further
quiet the ride and especially road vibration and the low drone frequencies that come off the engine and frame..?? I think 9 out of 10
drivers dont really know what level of noise can take damage their hearing in a few months and it doesnt come back.
The fatigue issue is on top of that. What have some of you done to silence the sound levels??

Like any truck,it depends how it was ordered. The good sound/insulation package is about 800.00. Not many fleets are going to go past the standard one.

My '13 & '14's are very quiet. An '11 with 430K on it is still quiet inside.

freigtliners are concidered noisy, but cascadia is much better the century class.

anyway, cabin noise is an truck price issue. Volvo trucks are with made of steel cabs with many matts. We used to put sound damping mats in old international 9800 and it was so quiet and warm in winter.

Cascadia aerodinamics are much better. less noise from air streams.
