I am looking for a good repair shop for my semi truck, Freightliner Columbia DD 60 14 L 2007. I went to Freightliner Las Vegas once with my old truck and had very bad experience. I see there is Detroit Diesel shop and W.W.WILLIAMS, but have no experience with them.

I understand...the freigtliner in las vegas is owned by the same fool who own the freightliners in fontana & whittier ca, i had the worst experience in Whittier that i have ever endured...

1 week there and being told the delay is due to the technician going home drunk...

I feel your pain, my old truck was in the shop for wheel seals - normally done for a few hours, but what the surprice - they offer me to change the whole axle housing - because there was a play between the wheel bearing and the housing - about $3000. I insisted to check the play and there was not much of a play... the manager of the shop assured me, that without changing the axle housing the wheel seals will start leaking in 100 miles period. I order them not to change anything else, but the wheel seals, is my money right? After 25000 miles no leaks ....

Believe it or not, the TA in Vegas has a couple excellent techs. I am VERY hesitant to take my truck to any truck stop shop, but this guy is great. He is a bigger hispanic, maybe American Indian guy. He has worked on my truck twice and both times I was in there I spoke with other drivers there that brought it to him regularly. We are all owner operators, so we are paying for this. Sorry I dont know his name, but he is #### good. I live in Minnesota or this guy would be working on my truck more.

I have not personally dealt with them, but they are owned by a company we use extensively in Southern California, so I can't help but think that they will have the same level of service, which I have always found to be excellent:
