What year, what model, what kind of truck? Assuming your running an egr s60 (2006ish) then I would say put it up to 500 hp anyway. You may want to wait untill you find out what areas/weights your hauling. I got mine tuned to 470/490 HP (switches) and it pulls pretty well up hill under everything but the heaviest loads up the steepest hills.

435 hp,is kinder weak.

just change calibration rating to 470 ore 500 hp, would be enought

It's a 07 freightliner... How does that work with the 470/490?does ur truck run at 490 or 470? Also what kind of choices do u have with turning up the Hp??

Our 07 is running at 470, no issue in the mountains of British Columbia...

I have an 07' columbia with cat c13 @430hp/10spd/295//22.5/3.42diff and multi torque 1550-1750lbs. I wont get more than 5.5mpg even with a empty 40' container. I do 61mph @ 1325rpm and 72mph @ 1500rpm but i went to a cat dealer and they cant bring it higher hp than it is, went to an outside source and he said the max he could do is 470hp and torque comes down to 1650lbs instead of going higher. By the way, yesterday and today i haved pulled 45000lbs loads in fl flats and the truck has done the same mpg as an empty container @ 60mpg.
Any suggestions on boosting hp on this c13? It has only 595k original miles. -
