05 FL Columbia oil consumption

    hello,
    My FL Columbia 05 has Detroit S60 Engine under 400,000 miles. Do you know how much oil consumption/burning is normal? I run about 5,000 miles and I had to add about 1/2 gallon of oil....is this abnormal in this type of engine?
