Why not get a ScanGuage and get everything right there on the same face? That will certainly save you loads on your fuel bill with a boost gauge.

My isspro in my pete is a black face white numbers orange needle. That's pretty close and theyre accuate gauges. I have a teltek in the 06 that SOB isn't worth the money I paid for it. I don't trust it at all with the way it fluctuates. Idk if the boost would be the same but I have a feeling it would be.

Autometer probably makes one that would be close as well and if its the small 2 1/16" or so you can find one easily. I'm pretty sure that's the same size as a diesel pickup uses in a pillar pod. Autometer doesn't make the cheapest gauge but they are accurate, and they last, and you can get almost any style you want in almost any gauge.

The Freightliner one will be electrical though, where a mechanical one would be way easier to install as a retrofit.
Autometer is the only gauge I use in the cars I work on, never had a single issue in the past 10+ years.

If you get a freightliner gauge, you can daisy chain it right to the ICU, and it will read your boost right off the 1587 databus. Easy plug and play

Sorry! I thought it was, but I was also half asleep. If you buy a stock freightliner boost pressure gauge, you can also buy the small wire that will connect to your gauge cluster. The gauge will read boost pressure off the databus sent by the ECM. If you do it this way, you will not need to buy a sender, or extra wiring going to the engine.

    leftlanetruckin Thanks this.
