`05 columbia,MBE4000 cooling issues

    First off, get a infered temp sensor and see if it really is running hot. They are like 20 bucks and could keep you from tracing down a problem that's not there. Are both your oil and coolant running hot or just one?

    just the coolant shows hot, the oil temp may get to 200 occasionally but that's where our MB powered Western Stars run.

    I got the truck back from the shop last Saturday and put 3200 miles on it this week. mechanic found bad gauge and corroded wire connections. temp gauge now reads normal and the same as the ECM shows. radiator temp thing still is a mystery but doesn`t seem to be much of an issue.
