2007 Freightliner (Columbia) M/B 10 speed auto shift , I parked it in my shop for the winter, there’s 16,000 on the rig. It WON’T START or turn over, THE BATTERYS ARE GOOD.
Left it in “R” I unplugged the batt and rocked the truck, still won’t turn over. The gear select indicator light on the dash lights up w/ a square then goes to 2- dashes when the keys turned on

The "--" is an indicator that the transmission is not in "N", the system will not come on line unless "N" is displayed..

It is imperative that you check for BAT power at terminals A-B on TCM... You must have a solid + (Battery) and a solid - (ground)

it is common with EU trucks to just disconnect the battery and wait for a few minutes and connect it again to reset the ecu

Should be bolted (3) to driver side, access panel in floor between seats...

The X-Y shifter is on top....

Dated Post: Use a pair of metal plyers and jump the truck @ starter/solenoid
