Hi, I recently got myself a '09 Cascadia and my fuel gauge seems to be messed up. When it goes down to "empty" I can only fuel 150-155gals with 2x100 fuel tanks. It shows empty way faster then it should. Anyone had a simillar problem? Thanks!

you could probably put in 178 gallons in after you run it out of fuel.
it won't pull from the very bottom of the tanks. -
Ye, I know, wasn't expecting to fuel 199
But still, 155 is way to low, ~180 available capacity is what I was hoping for. The gauge is f. up -
I've heard some people from FL say something gets bent and the guages get thrown off if the tanks are "overfilled" and some say the sending units are just junky. Our Road Assist at Prime always warns us not to run under 1/4 tank as the guages aren't reliable but I havn't had issues with it. "knock on wood"
Some guys have replaced the sending units only to have the problem crop up again.
I think it's "normal"blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
It's perfectly normal. I have two 100 gallon tanks on my Cascadia and my amber warning light flickers during acceleration and braking with 50 gallons left and comes on solid with 40 gallons remaining. The gauges err on the safe side.

Yup - the Cascadia has a calibration issue. We had same problem. I relied on the flashlight in the tank and pen and paper till I got used to it.

FL gauges read low, which is a good thing!
Friend of mine just got rid of his 09 Cascadia, and he went through @4 sender units while he had it in 4yrs
