Is anybody familiar with the HVAC wiring of an 04 Freightliner Daycab? One of the previous drivers tried to override the governed speed by cutting random wires that are on the drivers side beside the seatbelt mechanism on floor. Now the blower no longer works. The AC compressor will engage for a few seconds then shut off, maybe because the system senses the blower not running. The cable that was cut is a gray data cable with about six small wires inside. Im not sure where the other end of this cut cable is. Maybe it had a pigtail on it? Someone jumped two of the small wires(red and black) to larger wires I guess so the truck would run. I have attached a photo for reference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated during this hot GA summer. Thanks Resized imagejpeg.jpg

That looks like a jumper harness for a qualcomm or peoplenet.
For your a/c problem, looks like your blower motor or wiring to it is faulty. That will give a fault code 146- (three other numbers, forgot off the top of my head)- 12 on the dash. If that code comes on, your a/c controller will turn off your a/c compressor to prevent the evaperator from freezing. Best thing to do is to remove the blower motor, and check for corrosion in the connector. If there is no corrosion, you can remove the small cover on the motor (2 t10 torx bolts) and check the circuit board for corrosion. They are bad about corroding and shorting out. With the connector disconnected, you can measure voltage at the motor between the big wires. If all that checks out, I can give you more info on the control circuit.
unfortunately I dont know the pinouts or wires on the harness that the driver cut, with it being aftermarket.

Thanks Chip S. Ill check the motor connector for corrosion and power, then go from there.
