I need to adjust the air pressure governor on my truck. but I'm not sure where it is at and what it looks like.I've tinkered with the one on ISX before. But nothing looks like that on this engine. images would be helpful please.

If it looks like this you just pull that black cap off. Under there is a nut and slotted bolt. Undo nut and screw in or out.

CCW to turn up the gov and CW to turn down pressure for a bendix gov at least.

It may be non adjustable if it looks like this. -
If you have a Bendix AD-IS air dryer the govenor will be bolted right to it and look like the one right above^^ otherwise it will generally be bolted to the compressor head or close to it and be an adjustable governor.

if you cant find it, follow the small unloader line from the head of the govenor(usually 1/8" pipe) and it will take you to the govenor.

If it's on a Newer Freightliner it will be located on the Air Drier.
