When I got my truck it had 180 miles on it, at 200 a check engine light came on saying "air intake problem detected, 25% derate" Ive taken it to the shop 6 times and they do a forced regen clearing the code and give it back to me. Only it comes back on 50 miles down the road. Now the truck has 20000+ miles on it and ill be driving down the road at 65mph and all the power cuts out and comes back on (sometimes) sometimes it does not so I am forced to wrestle the dead beast to the side of the road. I think the engine light, the fact that it never asks me for a regen and the random power loses are related but they might not be.

most of the time it will do a passive regen. you dont want to have to sit and do a manual regen.

not sure if this helps. when it cuts off does the CEL (red AND yellow) flash then die? i had that happen and it was low on coolant.

YOUR TRUCK is too new for anyone to know. even the dealer. LOL.

your still under warranty, let them deal with it.

new trucks usually spend more time in the shop then on the road.

if it has a cummins take it to cummins ,,Detroit to Detroit,,,forget the dealer,, if it derates,,,disconnect the batteries for a couple mins,,it will reset the ecm when you reconnect the batteries,,,

Id take it to a dealer and have them check for loose connections. Sounds like a loose harness somewhere.

reason why you should not have a newer emission truck. I prefer gliders with 12.7 detroit.
