Hello. I just bought a 2012 Cascadia with dd15 engine. The odometer shows 284.000 m. The oil pressure is always 12-15 psi while idling and 25-50 psi at 1500 rpm. Is it ok? I had few S60 before and I never had this much pressure differences at same RPM. The second question is about coolant temperature. I always have 195-205 F. Is it normal? Thanks

I'm in a 2013 and run the same pressures and temps as you do.

thanks for responding Ditch Doctor... how long do you drive that truck ? no issues related to cooling system or radiator?
-
those readings are normal for that engine
the one thing we have had trouble with is the radiators
the seam let go on mine at about 300000 miles 5 months ago
just had another one go about the same mileage this week -
One of my friend had a cracked radiator on 2012 Cascadia at 290k. Freightliner replaced it with new different radiator. Also they changed all transmission cooling line supports, fan shroud and hoses. The new radiator has isolators. I have heard that all aluminum aftermarket radiators are performing better and no crack issues seen...I have 90 days freightliner warranty and if something happen I 'd like to happen in 90 days..))))
