So, after I have drop the truck off at Freightliner yesterday. They did full diagnostics where I was having lack of power on climbing hills. I thought it was turbo but then it didn't show no sign of leak or smoke out of exhaust, not even was fuel filter after I changed it to new.
CEL lights was going off and on. So, they told me I have delta P sensor went bad along w clamps, hoses and air filter. Looks like all that parts is going to cost me $237 and labor is $732 (include $350 full diagnostics checks up like egr, turbo and fuel injectors).

How hard is to install Delta P sensor? I mean..do you have to take out certain engine components for it? Total came out with $1,103 for just #### sensor and etc. Is that about right?

That is a bit high but no surprise there. Dealers usually charge more than your local truck service shop.

max 1 hour to take off delta p, clean venturi tubes and put back...on ebay you can find delta p for about $100... some times just cleaning venturi tubes is enough to get back power of engine and solve smoke issues...

Also, check the base that the sensor sits on (where the tubes hookup) for cracks. It's made of plastic. You can find replacements online made out of stainless steel
