Hi all. Just wondering if anyone else is having a rattling issue going in in the Cascadia Evolution. Can't seem to find it and it's driving me crazy. Been going on since I got the truck. It seems to be on the passenger side door area.

Yes. I encountered the same issue. Not all the time..depended on which direction the wind was blowing. I thought it was the passenger seat at first. The shop told me they thought it was the door seal. The noise is pretty agitating.
Reycer and Busasamurai Thank this. -
Exactly doesn't do it all the time. I've checked the door seal, maybe I'll check it again and stumble up on something. Thanks

I've checked the seal and mine looks fine actually. The noise is close to the door area...somewhere. Shop says it is a common complaint. Good luck!

(Attempting a little humor.) In a FREIGHTLINER, really???? I recall asking a guy with a new freightliner "where's the water leak on your windshield?" and having a few folks on the cb chime in with chuckles ect! With that said, anything new that 'rattles' ain't right, and you're spot on to try to catch it. Maybe it was just one of the last trucks on the line on Friday at the Freightliner plant?
I've had a tough week, family in the hospital, and my response was intended to make some folks smile and chuckle... I hope you do get the problem, and truck on, driver! -
What dash cam are you using? As far as rattling my 2012 Cascadia does it in cross winds.
-
Maybe a loose side-fairing or fuel filler door? Noise coming through a "gap" in the door seal? I wasn't sure what I was hearing in the youtube clip. Couldn't tell if that was all "rattle" or ambient noise and a slight rattle I couldn't hear.

The problem is the little panel just below the door. Take a piece of rubber and wedge it in between the panel and cab. I'll take a pick later. Driver side did it a little, but it has the block heater plug, so not as much.

It's a Freightshaker Crapscaia.. what do you expect? Build quality? -
Chuck223 Thanks this.
