I have a 99 classic w 05 crate engine.. it recently had inframe done. But I've noticed great deal 9 oil consumption and blow by like freight train... ?? Oil psi is under 40 running down hwy 3 days after svc was done... can anyone help??? 60 series detroit. Shop was recommended by company I run for. And purchase ing trk thru..

You didn't say what engine...or who did the in frame ...or who did the oil change and with what......You didn't say what is a great deal of oil consumption either........
Need more info......but if it's as dramatic as you say then you better hit a trusted shop ( now) for an evaluation or you will do the inframe again.

blowby comes from worn piston rings, oil consumption is another sympton.
how recently was your inframe? cuz it's defenitly time for an inframe. AGAIN!!!!! -
they installed new rings on your old pistons, did not change the liners, sounds like the bearings maybe wrong also, ...

What's the name of the shop?

and ongoing problem I took i tot his shop for him to check it out. We found a crack in the air to air. I replaced it !then be considered oil cooler may have a blockage. be done so Friday replaced it.
first run out with it since the old crew is buddy. I have had enough time to tell if it's going to be use any. but the blow by still unreal.mI pick the truck up in April and it had blow by then I wasn't sure if that was right or wrong? that time frame was only 6 months old
