Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Every truck is pretty much the same, some exceptions:
Passenger side of the engine: alternator, a/c compressor and the water pump.
Driver Side of the engine: Fuel Injection pump, Air compressor and power steering pump.
If you want to go really detailed get the drivers manual in the glove box, but you should be fine by checking these major components plus all miscellaneous wires and hoses, belts and radiator/fan... and I am just talking about the engine, you always need to check the frame, suspension parts, brake system parts as well as the tires and rims. -
The manual doesn't say what the different componants are or where they are located at
-
Somebody in your shop should be able to help you.

They said to look in the manual

Thing to do is ask another driver at your company.
-
You normally don't have to point them out, you do have to say there names out loud, the inspector has a check list they mark off. You say check all fluid levels, coolant, pwr strg, oil, full not leaking, caps are secure. Belts not cracked missing or broken properly tightened. brackets and bolts are secure properly tightened not broken or cracked, etc......
