Less than 10000 miles and I already smell Exhaust driving and parked.
Dealer mechanics find no leak but I can definitely smell it. Gives me coughing fits and headaches. Happens with AC / heater blower on and off. Any ideas where its coming from?
Thanks!

No ideas but you need a CO detector. You can't smell carbon monoxide but it may be present also.

I have a Co and smoke alarm.

larryaz Thanks this.

The Freight shaker i was driving had a warped exhaust manifold which was coming in the cab and makeing me sick. Check for cracks in the manifold and other parts of the exhaust. Try to tighten all bolts and flanges, etc. A manifold crack could be small and hard to see. Also check around the turbo.

CK. the flex pipe down from turbo. for black around the joints?

Also put on recirculate instead of bringing in new air plus the fumes.

Wondering... stack or weed burner exhaust? Guess that might not make much difference. But with all the exhaust plumbing due to SCR and DPF stuff going on, there are a million places that a leak could occur under the cab. The Manifold or flange off the turbo probably the best place to look first. But as was stated, go to recirc on the cab heater/AC and block the outside air from coming in.

I'm having the same issue. What did it end up being? By the way recirculation only partly helps. The truck still brings in some "fresh" air or else you would eventually suffocate.
