Hi all. I am trying to do a parked regen on my Cascadia but it just wont complete. I want to check the doser injector to make sure it's working properly and not clogged up.

Any insight to where it is? I think I have found it on the passenger side engine just after the turbo but Im not sure.

    Thanks!

Diesel doser injector is right after the turbo in the exhaust, Def doser injector varies depending on which exhaust set up you have. ours is on the back of the "onebox".

do you have any check engine lights, an active check engine light could inhibit a parked regen from completeing

thanks for the help. I found it and took out the diesel doser injector...it didn't look to bad though and I don't think it was the problem.

Originally just the DPF light came on telling me I needed to do a parked regen. I parked the truck and shut it down. toggled the brakes on and off, pressed and released the clutch...started the regen. after about 3 hours of the engine at 1600 rpms nothing happened. I called a 2 freightliners and they said it shouldn't take more than an hour and a half at the most and told me I had a problem with something in the regen system(sensor or injector or dosing block)

during the time it was in the regen the yellow check engine light came on. i checked the code for it and it was 1624 which is "Soot Level very High"
I also have a code 1635 which is "HC-DOser Pressure Not Plausable" and/or "DPF Zone 2 Condition" .

well yesterday i removed the diesel doser injector and cleaned it and tried the regen again. again spent about 2 and half hours and nothing...this time the red stop engine light came on during the regen along with the yellow check engine light. i checked the codes again and now there is a code 1636 in addition to the other two which means "DPF Zone 3"

    thanks california

Take the truck to Detroit and get fixed before you have to replace the filter also.

Hey, don't want to steel your thread. I just wanted to ask how difficult it was to start your DD15 after hooking the fuel line back on the doser pen? I want to remove and clean that out, but have been hesitant to do so for this reason.

thanks, and any update on your problem?

I can answer for this question. Super hard. Actually you can't do it with hand pump. You have to have a external handpump or electric vacuum pump. After 3 years I own Cascadia I have to tell you. It's a joke truck. Like all. I feel people who are design trucks are not even finish basic mechanic school. The parts what have to be plastic is metal what need to be metal is plastic. Also how hard is to put fuel line top of the fuel filter? So we don't have to pump for hours ? Also how hard is to put Y shape on muffler so in emergency we still can drive?how hard is to put harnes top of the engine not on the bottom so we get oil in that. And last most idiot idea is put computer non protected on the side of the engine. Exectly under the fuel filter. So make sure we gets fuel in the computer. So many idiots! And number 1. Is put fuse box behind glovebox secured with 4 scruw and not any top protection from the rain water under the windshield. Made in stupidity!

If you have an overright button you can use a coin and kick it to override position. Still able to drive another few thousand miles but make sure don't use truck on low rpm! Highway is good. Dangerous move but help a lot.
