The truck is Freightliner Columbia 2007, DD ser 60 - 14L. I have a ProDriver DC display that is showing this message from time to time. When the message showing up, the yellow check engine light is on and the radiator Fan switches on. After a few minutes everything is back to normal. The water temp. is normal, oil temp. normal. I suspect a bad sensor somewhere.
Are there any air sensors around the turbo or some other place ?

check the black, plastic air inlet temp. sensor on the air filter housing tube.it likes to come unplugged.if o.k.check the wires going to it.check as far as you can.they like to rub on the front of engine by the a/c compressor.sensor is hardly ever the problem.go figure it only costs like $15 and takes 30 seconds to replace.good luck.

This problem is caused by bad Air Temp sensor. Replaced Mine and now is all good. The sensor is screwed in the intake manifold, it is made out of plastic. Cost $17.
