The 14l Detroit swap to n 14 I think it's almost impossible specially since n 14 is not an option at the time 14l Detroit wad around so it's going to cost u a #### ton of money and u have to do all the wires one by one matting the two harnesses together I haven't seen it done yet. As for bull gear prob around 1500 to 2500 depends on what u want to replace like gaskets engine mount maybe even damper being that there is a lot of work involved and for radiator if on the same truck u can cut the work in half maybe less cuz it has to come out for the bull gear to be done

On your engine swap you would have to find a shop willing to do swap not many would touch it .. Or work on a truck that had a non compliant engine EPA has a lot of shops scared straight .. You would be better off buying a truck that came with a n14 instead it probably would be cheaper to recondition a pre Emmision truck than to modify your current one .... A few guys I know with fixed trucks are or have sold them even though they run perfect because shops are telling them soon they will have to verify emissions as part of safety inspection .. It would cost them way to much to bring back to stock specs ..
