I have a 2007 Coronado glider kit that has a bad washboard type vibration while taking off under load, this truck has been to countless dealers, and garages without anyone finding anything wrong with it, Lots of money spent just to be told they don't know why it's vibrating everything is good. I have over 5 thousand dollars in driveshafts and yokes , new rears, new tranny, changed tires and rims, drums etc,2 new air ride valves, nothing seems to fix it. If you unhook the rear driveshaft or pull the rear axles the truck drives fine. I cant get the u joint angles right no matter what we do. The freightliner shop manual calls for pinion angles of 2.4 front and 11.3 rear I'm running .9 front and 9.2 rear , i have taken apart and checked my my axle seats and they are 3degree front and a 5.5 degree rear which is factory specs, I don't understand if everything is at factory specs how are the pinion angles being thrown off . I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience with their freightliner I'm also open to any suggestions on things to try. I really like this truck and have well cared for it but it is getting on my last nerve.
    Thanks,
    Daryl

You can buy a box of shims for the rear ends to adj. the(tilt) and start changing them around till it gets better, same with air ride HI. just change arm adj till it quits.

Honestly I'd just drive it. It works and makes money. Not every truck rides like a Cadillac.

Have you looked at the clutch?

Yes new clutch fly wheel was turned and checked for balance, the truck is smith going down the road it just vibrates like crazy taking off under load to the point you would think it is going to break something. Mounts are all new also, the only thing anyone finds wrong is bad u joint angles on the rear driveshaft but like I said all the wedges and ride height is at factory specs. Just wondering if anyone else had had this problem.
    Thanks

Had a carrier bearing go out on a t600 it shuddered and shook hard under acceleration .. Has rear rearend been opened to check out bearings inside .. It really sounds like it's rear end or u joint angle if disconnecting drive shaft eliminates shudder/shake

Broken throughput shaft and/or hammered bearing on front drive axle (I assume they checked the diffs for metal?), carrier bearing, U-Joint, Bad angle on drive shaft, busted rim inside rear. Did they check air ride height when they replaced valves?

Had an old Pete, air ride. Mule Train that had worse angle than yours between front and rear diffs. Replaced U-joints on that rear drive shaft every 50-70k miles. Last time I replaced them u-joints I drove about 50 miles, stopped, got out of truck and the u-joints were so hot you couldnt touch them. Called wife and she took me to parts store where I picked up a tube of the best hi-temp molly grease they had, it was orange and had the texture of permatex silicone. Stopped the heating problem and them u-joints have lasted me well over 100k miles!
