    Howdy Cowpie1,

Thats a nice looking dash.

To all the others who have replied thanks for the suggestions. I plan on keeping this truck for quite a while hopefully I'll still be driving it for another five years or more before I down size to a smaller RV. I have looked through all of the truck junk yards in my area and when ever I pass close to one in my travels, it seems like if your not there when a truck is towed in your not going to get much in the way of interior parts that are worth buying, they go QUICK. If this were a work truck I wouldn't care much what it looked like but as its my "legally registered and titled Motor Home" I like it to look nice. Yes, I know its a throw away truck in the grand scheme of things but my VA pension couldn't afford a Peterbilt.

With regard to color, the only difference between this dashboard and the others is a wood grain color/design on the applied vinyl film. It's the same aluminum panels.

They may all run on the same power and ground but not the sensor wire and that's different lengths.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I took a fuel gauge and boost gauge and interchanged them without moving wires. Also, trans temp with volt meter. The fuel gauge on the boost gauge wires and so on. I believe the system in called "multiplex wiring" the harness goes from one gauge to the other including speedo and tach.

I'm an ex software engineer and yup, your right. It's called a CAN bus and it's pretty much one wire to everything that has an address. Can't do that with the older trucks
