2014 cascadia with opti idle and espar bunk heater

    espar will not work when i do not have any of the rocker switches in bunk turned on (lights in sleeper)....when i turn opti idle on engine mode espar will run fine.....wiring issue or is this normal??

    programming issue .... espar programmed with SAM cab module I think... go to dealer.

    the espar runs on it's own. i don't think it has anything to do with the truck what so ever.

    EXCEPT. when the ignition is turned on. THEN, the espar shuts down. it won't run with the ignition turned on.

    that's how it works in MY FL, anyways.

    the espar runs on it's own. but it gets some digital signal for turn on/off from sac cab module. I have the electric diagram and it shows the link.

    Dont judge me on asking a strange question, but does the espar work with the key off, and the driver side door open, but turn off when you shut the door and let the dome lights go off?
