Looks like the gasket on the Turbo is leaking air, mechanics say it's not critical (meaning it can wait a week or two). They say the gasket itself is perhaps $35, but labor.......anyways, is there any chance running the truck like this could permanently damage the turbo????

right now, the noise is annoying and there's a hesitation in the first three gears...once moving it's hardly noticeable in both performance and noise...

I swear, these trucks are worse than 13 year old girls...gotta buy em something every week!!!!

if you mean the gasket where it bolts on the manifold. get it fixed now! it will burn out and then your turbo will bounce around and break the bolts or break the manifold flange off where it bolts on.

Well, tomorrow I'm gonna make a run and then it's going in the shop to change the mounting bracket on the radiator, so I'll end up taking care of it this weekend....
