I've got problems with both 12v sockets on the dash.

The one closer to the driver seat works for almost everything, except for my xm radio. Bought a new power cord and it still doesnt do anything. Confirmed there are no problems with radio or cords by hooking up in another truck and personal vehicle.

The one further away just does not work period. fuses checked, they looked fine, replaced anyways and still nothing.

I have an ohm/amp meter but don't know what to look for. Its a company truck so I don't want to do too much digging, just hoping someone can provide a bit of wisdom.

    Thanks.

Does the meter you got show voltage? Is there some power at the socket just not enough amperage, or no power at all?

This can happen in the International so im guessing in a FL also, but sockets can stop working all togethor or even speraticly, reason normally is because the socket at the bottom is made of plastic with the metal thur it, if someone plugs a fridge or inverter into the socket and gets it to hot it can melt the plastic and move the connections or worse sepeate the connections all togethor. I had to replace almost every socket in my truck when I purchased it.
