If you have not had this fixed, I'm sure I can fix it for you. I'm in NC. I worked for FL for 14 years at the factory trobleshooting electrical problems like yours. Then went to dealership as shop foreman for a year. After seeing how electrical problems at the dealership seem to never get fixed right the first time and cost an arm and four legs, I started my own company. 33six four 79 zero 7 eight one.

Columbia AC problem, make sure you have 3.75 lbs of refrigerant in system, depending on if you have blend air but basically, voltage goes from switch, to thermostat, to binary switch on low pressure line to compressor, I'm in NC and mobile, been from LA to Buffalo fixing trucks, if you can't figure it out contact me

Ouh yeah, no refregirant problem is usually clasified as electrical gremlin... For example on Volvo trucks if it is no refregirant Climat Unit reads "A/C compressor clutch broken wiring"... LOL! On some late Volvos there are refrigerant pressure sensors, on previous versions - A/C refrigerant pressure switch only))

Well, on Columbia it is really easy to check is refrigerant pressure switch closed ore open with DVOM.

I had a problem where the compressor wires are connected with one wire being bent and slightly severed, it turned out that the remaining wires would not hold the current and overheat basically. I rewired and now the compressor is constantly running and only getting cool air so my problem is still the same, not getting ice cold, I have replaced the compressor, expansion valve and air dryer. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

Today my husband had to go to a truck service because the truck had a problem solving the problem included some work on the fuse panel and now the fuel level indicator does not work properly (constantly moving up and down). Do you know which fuse is responsible for the gas indicator ? We have a 2005 Freightliner Columbia.

    Thank you!
