Fire Engine

They are a very unstable co. I have lost count of how many times, since the early 80s, he has filed bancruptcy and left all his drivers high and dry. He will dissapear for a few years and start up again when his name has been forgotten or the newbees don't know his name. He then sucks them in with nice trucks, runs the heck out of them and shuts down with no notice.
Stay away from that co. or don't get to far in debt yourself so you can survive when the door gets slammed in your face.

Ok...I have met Don Freymiller. As far as I know, he has been at the same location for may years. I've been running here in the "Lower 48" since '98 and have not heard a cross word about the man. Is trucking easy? Heck no. Is Don a snake? Not in my experience. The man has never been cross with me. I did not have the best experience with his recruiting department either, or with his son. But when it comes down to it, the old man is still upstairs and he will go to bat for his drivers. What more could you ask for? Is freymiler for everyone. No. But it is a good solid company with decent pay and equipment. It is reefer and you will sit. But you should expect that when hauling grocs.

I don't burn bridges. If any of you want more "inside" info about these guys, I'd happily give you a person to call to find out for yourself.

Route ID Good info here and on R.R.

[quote=Hard2Catch;592135]Hi, I'd like to hear from anyone working or previously employed at Freymiller. I'm considering applying.

RIPOFF Reports also keeps info on trucking companies, it would be another
place for you to check out what is being said outside the recruiting office.
And don't forget, your first few weeks there could be the best you'll ever
have....the honeymoon period.

Talked with a recruiter yesterday - YES, they hire teams, but don't expect team miles. The lady explained that their teams are mostly husbands/wives and they run miles like a super solo - 3500-4000. The irony is that at 3800 miles, my wife and I would make more than at 6,000 miles in my lease with England.

Ronin,
I to am trying to put together a deal to buy a truck to lease on at Freymiller. Why? Groceries. Folks may stop buying cars, TVs, and houses...but they are going to eat. Freymiller has good freight, and the pay seams to be fair. I know another O/O with 12 trucks leased on there, and he is happy.

The company teams maybe like "super-solos", but once Big Rich figures out you all know how to keep the doors closed...watch out. He will run your backside off. You will do much better with these guys then you will at mist places. The equipment is nice too.
