Leaving Gainey
Worked here 3 months. My highest pay check was 920.00. Lowest was 320.00 Alot of runs to NE with no prepass. I'm leaving Friday for something else befor the bank gets everything I own.
Got a msg from gainey headquater that they were being sued by a large bank. I do not know the details of suit but the way I have been treated I can see why. If Gainey is the only place will hire you then so be it otherwise look elsewhere.
Biggest problems
1 No EZ pass
2 Alot of NYC and ne runs
3 TRucks that are in bad shape
4 low miles
They make you stay out 19 days befor hometime

The good
They will just about anybody

That's wonderful, they screw my husband out of his toll money, shy his pay for any trip they don't like the paper work on, and short his miles... and they donate to bible colleges... huh, sounds messed up to me!

Go some where else i worked for them and was charged repair bill...

As many people know now, the lawsuit with Wachovia was a bogus attempt at them trying to solidify themselves at the expense of Gainey. Courts have ruled in favor of the company on many fronts. The low miles you are referring to were a result of you being with the company a short time (3 months), and the result of customers giving in to mass hysteria and "jumping ship". The latter is rectifying itself as the company is obviously getting many of its accounts back. As far as picking the desirable runs... you have to prove yourself like every new driver in any company.
