WELL LET ME TELL ABOUT THE HELL WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH IN ONLY 3 MONTHS WITH GAINEY. MY HUSBAND AND I DRIVE FOR THEM AS A TEAM AND IT STARTED OFF OK, BUT FIRST THING THAT HAPPENED WAS WE WERE ON A DEDICATED RUN FOR THEM FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND THE RUN HAD 6 STOPS ON IT WELL THEY NEVER TOLD US THAT WE DIDNT GET PAID FOR STOP OFF PAY FOR THAT RUN SO WE WERE LOSING $500+ A WEEK JST ON STOP OFF PAY. SECOND THING THAT HAPPENED WE HAD A 2008 KW T2000 AND IT BROKE DOWN ON I95 IN FL, WELL THEY SENT A WRECKER AFTR A COUPLE HRS OF WAITING AND WHEN THE WRECKER GOT THERE HE SAID HE COULD ONLY SEAT ONE SO WE CALLED BREAKDOWN AND TOLD THEM THIS HE SAID OK (SO BASICALLY **** US) SO I HAD TO TAKE A CAB $70 AND MY HUSBAND RODE WITH THE WRECKER WELL I GOT TO THE KW SHOP IN FL ABOUT 30 MI FROM WHERE WE WERE AND IT WAS THE GHETTO, AFTR WAITNG FOR ABOUT AN HOUR (MIND YOU IT WAS AFTR MIDNIGHT ) AND THEY FINALLY GOT THE TRUCK THERE AND WE CALLED TO GET $ FOR WRECKER, WELL WE GOT THAT AND THAT WAS IT. THEY NEVER ASKED US IF WE WANTED ROOM OR RIDE OR ANYTHING ELSE. WELL WE HAVE FAMILY ABOUT 3 HRS AWAY SO WE CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME AND GOT US. CALLED DRIVER MGR MONDAY MORNING AND TOLD HIM THE SITUATION AND TOLD HIM WE WERE ABOUT 8 HRS FRM WHERE WE WANTED HOMETIME AND ASKED IF THEY COULD RENT US A CAR TO GET THERE HE SAID"WE GOT U TO FL AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR YOU TO RIDE AROUND AND SEE YOUR FAMILY" ALL THIS IS 4 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. I JUST TOLD U THE BEST PART OF THAT SITUATION. NOW HERES THE REST SO WE RENTED OUR OWN CAR TO GET HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. WELL ITS THE DAY AFTR CHRISTMAS AND WE CALLED DRIVER MGR AGAIN WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR US TO GET BACK TO TRUCK OR WE WOULD NOT GET PAID FOR DOWN TIME. WELL WE ENDED UP BEING DOWN FOR 10 DAYS AND WHOEVER PAID TOW TRUCK BILL CLOSED IT OUT AND THEY DID NOT KNOW TRUCK NEEDED REPAIRS. WELL ON THE 28TH THEY CALLED AND SAID THAT THEY HAD ANOTHER TRK BROKE DOWN IN SOUTH FL AND THEY WOULD RENT A CAR FOR THE 3 OF US TO GO PICK UP ANOTHER TRUCK, WELL THE OTHER DRIVER GOT THERE AND HE WAS IN A CHEVY HHR WICH IS SMALL AND HE HAD ALOT OF STUFF AND WE ALSO DID SO WE TOLD THEM THAT WE COULD NOT ALL FIT AND THEY TOLD US TO LEAVE SOME OF OUR STUFF OR GO TO WAL-MART AND BUY A RACK FOR TOP OF CAR SO WE SAID NO AND ENDED UP WAITING UNTIL THE 31ST FOR ANOTHER CAR. WELL WE EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT WE NEEDED TO GET BACK TO OUR TRUCK BECAUSE WE ONLY HAD A FEW CLOTHES WITH US AND WE WERE ABOUT 8 HRS FROM TRUCK, WE DID NOT HAVE ALL ARE NECCESITIES WITH US LIKE BLANKETS, PILLOWS ,ETC. OUR DRIVER MGR TOLD US TO JUST GO BUY SOME MORE. WELL WE DROVE 1200 MILES TO KANSAS CITY TO PICK UP ANOTHER TRUCK AND THEY DID NOT PAY US 1 PENNY FOR THAT. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GO RIGHT BACK TO OTHER TRUCK A WEEK AGO AND WE STILL HAVENT MADE IT . WE ENDED UP ONLY MAKING $150 BREAKDOWN PAY FOR THOSE 10DAYS SITTING AND WE SPENT MAJOR$ TRYING TO GET HOME FOR CHRISTMAS AND NOT SIT IN TRUCK. THEY MESSED UP OUR CHECKS THAT SAME WEEK AND NOW THIS WEEK I GOT A $60 CHECK FOR ALMOST 2000 MILES SO THEY MESSED IT UP THIS WEEK TOO. WE DO PAY TOLLS BY TAKING ADVANCE THEY TAKE IT OUT YOUR CHECK AND IT IS HARD TO KEEP UP WITH IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL HOMETIME TO LOOK AT YOUR CHECK STUBS, YOU DO HAVE TO LOG BATHROOM BREAKS,EATING, SHOWERS,WHEN YOU BREATHE ETC...., NOT QUITE PRISON BUT NOT FAR FROM IT. WE HAVE ALMOST 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE BETWEEN TWO OF US AND THE ONLY REASON WE ARE STILL HERE IS BECAUSE WE HAVE ALOT OF EXPENSIVE STUFF IN OTHER TRUCK BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY WE GOT OUR APPLICATIONS IN AND ORIENTATION SET UP SO AS SOON AS WE GET OUR STUFF WE ARE GETTING AWAY FAST NOT WALKING BUT RUNNING. SO IF YOU CHOOSE GAINEY BRING YOUR VASELINE OR SOME LUBRICANT TO ORIENTATION FOR THE ******** YOU ARE GOING TO GET. GAINEY IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK AND THERE IS ALOT MORE THAN JUST WHAT WE TOLD YOU THIS WAS JUST A PREVIEW. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY.

i was there for orentation the week before christmas.I was a joke two of use went to the main office to meet our driver manager. i was wednesday morning we sat there for almost three hours waiting.
Mean while every one was bringing food in for there corpret christmas party this guy was sitting there carving ham's right there in front of us.
The owners wife came over to the table we were sitting at and told us were were going to have to move they needed the table(you can go outside and wait).I'm sorry people but that was just rude.

thank you for all the info, and sorry for what happened with them, I have application online for 100's of companies, so GTS Gainey Transportation was one of them sent me an email to see if I wanna work with them. thank god I search online for info about them and nobody say their good, not 1 thing good about them, also I have never heard of any company doesn't pay for stops...I don't know why they say they do pay for stops in their website . good luck

Greed factor they didnt want to pay there creditiors..so there credit is that bad..

Actually the deal with their credit is through scandalous measures from Wachovia bank who was having solidarity problems and tried to put Gainey, along with other high profile customers through the wringer in an attempt to come up with quick cash flow. Gainey has most of their accounts back now, and everyone knows what happened to Wachovia now. People need to get their facts straight.
