GRAND RAPIDS -- A federal bankruptcy judge on Wednesday allowed Gainey Corp. to keep on trucking as the company pursues Chapter 11 reorganization. But he forbid the use of company cash to pay owner Harvey Gainey.
The ruling by Judge James Gregg allows the company and its related subsidiaries to continue using its fleet and the cash flow it is generating to pay operating costs and employee benefits through at least Jan. 16.
